I feel like I always have a question lol but you ladies give good advice and I did what you said on my last post about a toxic male friend and it worked well for me. Anyway I have a close-ish female friend. We are both 26, and grew up together. Knew each other since we were 16, I even lived with her and her family for a few years during high school. She’s always been helpful and has watched me go through some pretty painful failures growing up. I always felt like she was someone I could depend on but lately I’ve just been feeling like she pities me. She is married however I don’t approve really. She married a guy a few years younger than us. She accepted the proposal like 2 months in and they married after knowing each other less than 6 months which was just ridiculous to me. The man moved way too fast and he is childish and jealous. He has never maintained a home before and he comes from a rich family where he disrespects his mother and she gives him whatever he wants. His family essentially pays for their life. Anyway I’ve been noticing my friend subtly putting me down since their marriage, they’ve been married for 4 years now. In the beginning she would act like I was the “slutty one” in the friendship which really couldn’t be further from the truth just to seem more innocent to him. I allowed it because I was young and did not know any better. It made me uncomfortable because it seemed like she was always joking with him that I was “a hoe”. This did stop once they had their first kid together. Once that happened everything changed. My friend just seemed like she looked down on me even more because she wanted me to join #teamchristianmommy and I was like no lol then it became subtle jabs about how I would be incapable as a mother, even though I’m way more independent than her and have been living on my own without roommates for the entire duration of her marriage. I did not have my family to hold my hand like her’s does. She used to be cool but now she is a Trump supporter and a tradwife. It’s really weird. She initiated a conversation with me about BLM just to demonize it, and doesn’t like socialism even though she’s on freakin wic and Medicaid. It’s extra weird because she is not even full white and has an immigrant mother. We both grew up low middle class in the city and got lots of opportunities from socialism. She’s a stay at home mom now and thinks any woman that has children and continues to work by choice is selfish. Idk it’s just starting to get crazy with her. I have been being more confident and pushing hard for my creative pursuits and it feels like she doesn’t even support me. Yesterday she asked me about an Instagram post to see if someone took the picture for me and didn’t even like the picture. And we had a weird talk about marriage where she seemed like she was trying to rub it in my face that she was married. I have no desire to be married with 2 children at age 26 and she knows this. I just feel like she is always trying to prove that she is happy in her relationship but she doesn’t really speak on it much when we are together. She mainly asks about my love life. It just feels like prodding. It wonder if she runs back to her Christian c̶u̶l̶t̶ female friend group and talks shit about what I told her. I am just confused because she really is like a sister to me but she has just been weird since she got married. Anyone else ever had a female friendship go to shit after your friend got married?

TLDR: My best friend got married to a man she barely knows. They have been together for 4 years and our friendship has suffered like crazy since this man entered her life. She has changed completely and puts me down in a subtle way even though I don’t deserve it. Anyone else gone through it or have some advice?
