We cannot both hold men responsible for their abusive and manipulative behavior, while still victim blaming the women who suffer their abuse. I don't feel like this is in line with FDS principles.

Should we all learn what behaviors are red flags and indicators of future escalation? YES, because it helps us.

Is it always possible to predict when a partner will flip on a dime and show himself to be low value? No, as we've seen time and again.

All we can do is be mindful of our boundaries and maintain them ruthlessly and consistently in order to protect ourselves. And hold men to standards of behavior expected of civilized people whenever possible, without endangering our safety.

I respect all circus people this is why internalized misogyny needs to be eradicated from our ways of thinking.

We need to extend a hand to other women, graciously, while expecting nothing in return and see the story for what it is so we do not perpetuate the role patriarchy designated to us as the "opposition".
