Something I'm noticing more and more... even before my recent FDS discovery, I made a commitment to not listen to mansplaining (or condescension from women) anymore. It's a little tough to catch it in the moment, I feel like I have a 3 second window to SPEAK UP and cut off monologues before they start. Worth it tho.

And this past week, WOW something is in the air, because especially the LVM I run into/have to speak with on the phone are getting REALLLLYYY inappropriately salty when i cut them off!!

No one likes to be cut off, but no one likes to have dumb shit explained to them needlessly. In the past week I've seen it 4 times; I ask a question on the phone or need assistance at a store, and an (obvious) LVM employee starts to derail the conversation almost immediately.

So all 4 times I've cut them off to the effect of, "actually, that is not my question"/"no, I dont need that information, thanks."

And WOW they really break some major protocol to show me how offended they are! 2 insurance agents have scoffed at me, one has raised his voice to shut me up from asking my question. The guy at staples yesterday gave me a NASTY look when I told him that, no, I dont need a new printer, again I am looking for a black ink cartridge for the printer i have. One other fine gentleman laughed at me on the phone and got really agitated for saying "no, I dont need that, thanks tho."

They practically weed themselves out... stay vigilant for the flimsy effort that precedes this behavior in the men who want to sleep with you...

If the men around you cant be respectful, dont expect the ones who "like" you to magically be better than the rest!
