You can take all the self defense classes in the world, and arm yourself to the teeth, but the fact remains-- they are physically stronger than we are.

I'm not saying these things are pointless, they're just not everything.

The best safety tool we have is our gut instinct. If a guy doesn't feel safe, get away from him any way you can as quickly as you can. Don't be afraid to walk away from a guy who is making you feel uncomfortable, even if you're out on a date with him. Even if you're in a public place.

Men fancy themselves as our "protectors", but they really are predators. Our "protectors" are our predators? LOL, that's a mafia protection racket.

Except, this whole prey/predator arrangement is all in our head. We have the ability, as women, to take out any violent fuck with the proper weapons and training because we are blessed with brains, and thus aren't at the mercy of our lesser strength.

Learn how to get comfortable with a guns and non-projectile weapons. Learn how to take a hit, and not be afraid, and to bounce back from it (martial arts).

Always bet on yourself!

I recommend that all women who live in countries where firearms are allowed to get a handgun and firearms training.

The police are not able to be there at a moment's notice; we're mostly on our own. I sleep soundly at night knowing there is an alarm and a pistol in my nightstand.

The more weapons and training and fitness you have, the better. Just be sure they’re not in plain sight (but easily accessible) and that you’re training, not just owning. Reflexes and aim in an emergency can be honed better with consistent training. Of course to CYA try to keep everything on the legal side, but as women, we need SOMETHING. The men are ruthless, and we have to be as well.
