This is actually a well known technique that’s been used by neo Nazi groups. Introduce toxic ideas through Humor and then when people call them on their crap the pretend to be victims of PC warriors who can’t take a joke.

This can also be a trait in paedos and groomers. Fred West would tell everyone dodgy jokes or sexual stories and work out whether they were on his wavelength by how they reacted.
