This is a part of why fat men aren't very appealing. I think. Because fat builds up around the base of the penis, making it both look and feel shorter. Some fat men can end up with an "innie" because the fat actually engulfs it.

I bet obesity is the "health condition" they are referring to.

The age-old question of whether size matters has been tested in a scientific experiment for the first time — and the conclusion is that it might. Previous research into penis length and women’s sexual pleasure has tended to rely on surveys.

A new study from King’s College London recruited 12 sexually active couples. The male partner was asked to reduce artificially the depth of penetration by placing a range of different silicon rings around the base of his erect penis. The female partner, who was not shown the size of ring used, rated each encounter on a scale of 0 to 100 for sexual pleasure overall and from intercourse alone, and in terms of emotional connection to her partner.

David Veale, the study’s lead author, said: “We started with the premise that depth of penetration would not matter to most women. We found that reducing the depth of penetration by an inch led to a statistically meaningful drop in the amount of pleasure experienced. “The longer the erect penis, the less likely the rings had an impact on sexual pleasure. There was, however, a range of individual responses with a minority of women reporting that reducing the depth of penetration was more pleasurable on some occasions.”

The rings were designed either to make no difference or to reduce penetration by an inch, 1.5 inches and two inches. Participants were told to have sex either three, four or five times with each ring.

Veale said that the study was particularly relevant for men experiencing penile shortening due to health conditions. He added: “We need to establish effective interventions so that these men do not seek non-evidence based solutions like pills and lotions.”

Veale went on to stress that the results “should not be misinterpreted as meaning that increasing penile length in a normal man will increase sexual pleasure in women”. He added: “That would be a completely different study.”
