Should their career choices be a red flag?

Military, police, positions of power. If you're abused by them, omerta will keep you from fair justice. Even if he's the sweetest boy ever, you never know.

"Entrepreneurs" that don't have any tangible stuff to show it. Or that are all talk no show.

Men that have a weird relationship with money, and avoid men with lots of branded clothes or flashy stuff or fake stuff.

With artistic career men (writer, painter, sculptor, etc) the money influx is not stable, and there's no guarantee they'll have a stable career. And lots of art guys can be... weird in the bad sense. Don't financially support them. You could go with one if you want to stay in separate homes and finances even after marriage.

Lots of men that are in high-stress white shirt jobs (think financial, etc) have to unload their stress. So they either do it in a unhealthy way (abuse, violence, food, addictions, fetish, etc) or in a healthy way (sport, etc).

Early career IT people (I don't know if that's valid for other domains, but that's the domain I know most.) will have to switch constantly jobs. If you're not living in a big city with lots of opportunities, your IT man will probably move.

If your man isnt telling you what's his job after a few meets that'd def be a red flag.

Wherever men land on the career hierarchy pyramid doesn't matter because the way they treat women (and people in general) doesn't necessarily have to align with their education, career choice, social status, etc.

You have to be weary of all men.
