I went to the cinema with a friend once. The guy working there told us, "I'll give you your tickets on one condition - that you both smile."

I wish I'd said, "No, you'll give us our tickets because it's your job." But we didn't, we gave him a fake smile so that we could get to the movie.

And it's not even that they want a smile, because by definition, a smile that you command someone to give you isn't a smile, it's just a fake face movement. They know that. The sinister ones just want to tell you what to do, and the dumb ones think you'll find them cute for wanting you to smile, or something. Attention dumb guys who use this "technique" - it's not cute, you look like an idiot.

For anyone interested— it’s possible this picture is depicting the biblical story of Jael, a judge during the Israelite Old Testament times. There was an enemy army general who she invited into her tent, gave him warm milk to fall asleep, and then drove a tent peg through his temple into the ground while he was asleep.
