So where do I meet a HVM?

There's a 95% chance you will not meet anyone high value at a club/bar xD.Since you live in a major city you should check out meetups or similar sites that host events. Go take up something you have interest in? Lot's of men play co-ed sports, or are in clubs revolving around fitness. It wouldn't hurt to meet other HVW either, the more people you know the greater your chances of meeting HVM through contacts.

Otherwise maybe look into volunteering? This may be hit or miss, but I think low value people wouldn't waste time helping others without being paid for it. Maybe this is wrong to say. But it's a good environment to perhaps find people who are compassionate.

Unfortunately sometimes meeting high value people is luck of the draw. It takes time, and doesn't occur over night. The best thing you can do overall is to be present in the real world, and enjoy a multitude of hobbies/interests that make you happy and grow as a person.

At least go to a jazz club, 25/30 and up clubs or somewhere people dress nicely. Places that spin top-40 music, have ladies nights, serve drinks in red cups and free admission before 11 are nowhere to meet HVM.

I agree with the gal who suggested volunteering. I'd suggest events like art exhibits, business conferences, salsa dance classes, Meetup clubs and certain festivals. Places with activities you can enjoy that aren't solely centered around socializing.

Agreed — you can learn their behavior over time in how they act around you if you end up getting one on one some. Not completely obviously, but I met my ex at dance classes. He was older but respectful. This was before this sub. He kept his hands in the respectful spot with respectful distance, bought drinks but never asked anything untoward or even asked me out, except once offered to drive me home and asked if I wanted to go to his place. I told him a strong no and stopped talking to him...but he was respectful after that and displayed HVM behavior. I think he got bad advice.

Did glance over at me a lot and make conversational effort. Before this sub, yeah, I put my number in his phone.

.... I had a good ex before him, too, but he had a weak spine with Narc fam. Before that lots of trauma. So, glad I found this sub.

I meandered — apologies... but yes group activities are good. You get to see how he treats all kinds of people, and if he has a mask.. if it slips at all...

First, think what type of features your partner should have. Do you want him to be fit? Check fitness class. Do you want him to be smart? Maybe a book club etc

Annual general meetings of companies that you hold stock in. I've been thinking about buying small amounts of stocks of very high-value companies so I can go to the AGMs. Could be a good place to meet HVM.
