Ladies, I've been seeing a man for about a month. We've gone out on 3 nice dates, all properly asked for and planned out by him. We text daily and he always initiates. He shows no signs yet of being a LVM (though of course I'm being cautious). He's attentive and engaging, handsome, respectful, fiscally responsible with a good job, and we have the same hobbies/interests and life goals. I would accept commitment if he offered it.

The thing is, what if we reach the 2-month mark and he hasn't asked for commitment yet? What do I do? Obviously I don't ask for it myself, but do I address it in any way if he doesn't? Do I just write him a text and say "Thank you, it's been great, but I just don't think this is moving in the right direction for me?"
