I am putting this here because I think that the way women use this word is a clue about how willing they are to accept responsibility for their own feelings and actions, which makes them more or less likely to be susceptible to predators.

I have noticed that white women especially like to call other women rude just because that woman disagrees with them. Rude is in these cases shorthand for “I am uncomfortable when everyone doesn’t agree. “

Come on ladies! Let’s save rude for real rudeness. Not the fake ish stuff from an 1860s tea party.

I love FDS because we don’t pull that here. Real talk and debate are welcome.

We white women have to get better at being in spaces where not everyone agrees with us. Simple disagreement shouldn’t be cause for cattiness.

Instead of telling another woman she was rude, tell her you felt hurt, angry, uncomfortable or whatever. But stop placing your feelings on other women.
