"Tradition" - Halseys new song interpreted as about prostitution, sexual harrassment, and human trafficking, and how it has been normalised as a "tradition" - a mentality that poisons character, similar to the "biology" argument of scrotes. Throw the whole scrote into the well of Barhout.

There are many songs that celebrate and encourages pickme culture, and despite Halsey being one of my favourite artists, I am well aware that some of her songs afall into pickme category (eg 3 am), and I dislike her songs that disseminate pickme mentality.

Hopefully songs like these would knock some sense into pickmes and see predatory, abusive and exploitative behaviour of men as they are: predatory, abusive and exploitative; rather than coddling them and doing a deep dive into their demon well psyche and trying to understand "why" is he like that. That's not your job -it's a psychologists, a therapits and a psychiatrists job.

Still haven't listened to all of her songs in her album, but I have listened to two other: Lillith and Easier than Lying, the latter of which has a smaking line to pickmes: " losing you is easier than lying to myself that you love me"

Reminds me of the quote "violence against men is oppression, violence against women is tradition".

I think the inclusion of the queen as being a victim here underscores its not merely prostitution or human trafficking it’s just misogyny. Misogyny is the tradition and it effects the lowliest most vulnerable girl and the woman who “has it all”
