I feel like if you weren’t going to talk to him, you should’ve just gone alone. There’s nothing wrong with doing things alone! It feels empowering sometimes and you don’t exhaust yourself by being in the company of someone you don’t want to be around

A walk "date" is NOT a date! Please please dont bother with him further. I wrote a post here cautioning everyone here to beware of "we can walk around" as a date. -it's not safe to be walking around with a stranger, especially silly if hes from OLD and you arent familar with the area -its extremely cheap and low effort -it sets the bar low for any further dates -even with coronavirus there are still plenty of other options which would be decent date ideas -walk dates when I was a pickme were usually from guys that like to sit inside and play video games or watch Netflix all day, they were all lazy slobs and wouldnt cook or cleanup for themselves.

He could have met up and had a picnic, took you for ice cream / takeout and sit outside, you could have met to watch fireworks on a public place and packed some snacks, etc. Walk dates are jokes. Sorry if I sound harsh but its something we all need to be aware of

I personally don't really see the point in meeting someone with no intention to talk to them
