By no sex the handbook doesn't just mean go all the way, it means all of this. Don't do a heavy make out session, don't do oral. Believe me, if you kiss a guy on the first date and you make out heavily like that on the second, men think you are easy and that you're looking for sex quickly. When you don't go all the way fairly soon, you get ghosted. It had to happen to me several times before I realized what I was doing wrong. It doesn't matter that it's wrong for men to assume just because you made out on date 2, you'll want to go all the way by date 3 or 4, but that is the reality of how they think.

A HVM would not want to make out with you on date 2, before he barely knows you, and he wouldn't do this in a car either. This guy you're dating, his behavior indicates to me that he's looking only to hook up.

Call me a prude but I think making out on the second date is way, way too soon. Fuck it, even kissing on the first date. I think at most I would accept a kiss on the cheek. Cunninlingus should be a given every time you have sex tbh, as men don’t need stimulation to get wet, but obviously when he is established and vetted.

Back in my pickme days I had a guy give me oral and he kept biting hard on my vulva and clit and I told him to stop doing that MANY times and he wouldn’t. Vet first.

The guidebook does go into this. It recommends no sex for the first few months while you vet to see if this is a high quality man, worthy of your time. Sex forces you to let your guard down and hormones cover a lot of red flags. 3 dates is not enough to verify this guy is not a serial killer. Slow your roll, keep your pants on, and your standards high.

BEWARE of "just" receiving oral sex. I once found myself in the bedroom of one of the most popular bachelors in my small town. I refused to have sex but somehow he persuaded me into him giving me oral.
