Short story, back in my online dating days I met up with a guy at a restaurant for a date. I was wearing a super cute outfit and my hair and makeup were done to perfection. The guy was about fifteen minutes late to the date, but in the time it took for him to get there, three separate guys all came up to me to tell me I looked really pretty.

Then when he got there, he was wearing a stained hoodie with sweatpants and tennis shoes. His skin was so dry that it was coming off in flakes whenever he itched his temples. He looked like a homeless version of the guy in his profile pics.

Swear to God, the other three guys in the restaurant were all cringing and shaking their heads when he sat down across from me. The date was short (30 min) and then I said I had to go get groceries at the store down the street, and this clingy piece of shit followed me there because his dumb ass thought it was an extension of the date. Who's stupid enough to DO GROCERIES as a date?!!?!

And while at the store, one guy came up to me covertly and said "I just wanted to let you know, that guy in the hoodie is following you" and I damn near pissed myself laughing

Oh the amount of secondhand embarrassment I have experienced because of men in my life. Some guys are a ticket to lifelong public mortification... rid your life of guys like that the first time they make it known to you that is a problem with them. Don't stick round trying to fix them, it is a waste of time and turns you into their mother which is the unsexiest thing in the world.

I realized that no man I’ve ever been in a relationship with has brought anything to the table at all. Like nothing and I’m not just talking financially. Why was I crying over them and spending months or years of my life missing them? Oooo that’s right, because they manipulated me because that is the only thing LVM can do to get a woman.
