I wish every woman who has been used and discarded by a LVM could understand that everything he ever said was a lie, everything he did was a scam. It doesn't reflect on you at all.

This is honestly so sad. This is why you should always make it expensive and time consuming for a man to waste your time. If the first girl had higher standards, she wouldn't have put up with a low effort relationship. I'm glad that we're all understanding better what men's investment and effort in a relationship should actually look like..not just the sweet words and false promises...but money, and time and thoughtful consideration.

This is why 50/50 is BS. You're literally paying for dates with a man who's wasting your time. If he's not investing in you, he's not into you.

I was actually in this situation once, I posted about it. Back in college, I found out that my boyfriend of six weeks had another gf of a few months. I invited her over, we can find him together, and he did the same thing this guy did. Only he told her that he didn’t want to be with her after he met me, that he was more attracted to me, etc. Even in my pick me haze, none of this appealed to me. I broke up with him that day and I was never tempted to go back to him. Why? Well, first of all he was clearly a manipulative narcissist. He didn’t love anyone, least of all me. The only reason he was trying to “save” me was because I hadn’t slept with him. He’d been begging me to sleep with him the entire time we had been talking and dating because I was a virgin. Some guys are like that, put virginity on a pedestal. And most guys would try to flatter the girl they hadn’t slept with, because they are obsessed with new vagina. But, let’s say he really meant it. Who cares?! No matter who he “loved” He still cheated on us both. Being his great love, being the woman who supposedly met with his approval wasn’t enough to merit a decent relationship. Why? Because the guy’s a liar and a cheater no matter who he’s with. So why aggravate yourself. If this other girl takes him back, all she gets is a 100% chance he’s going to cheat on her again.
