Totally agree. I cringe to think about all the times I forgave a man who didn’t respect my feelings, or my time. I believe 100% he thought the same of me every time I believed his lies of “I promise to make it up to you” whenever he screwed up.

Agree with "I will never be your ride or die". The persistently undying decade-long trend of women proclaiming that they are a man's ride-or-die is baffling to me. I wish we could leave the "ride-or-die" mentality along w/the normalization of "dad bods" (i.e. being an unapologetic fat slob) behind, in the 2010s.

Kind of an aside, but does everyone remember when she did that song with Timbaland called "The Way I Are"?

One of Keri's parts was "If we go Dutch, you can still touch my love is free". My sister hated that song. She said, ,"Oh my God, they're communicating to women they should accept less from a man!"

It's pretty funny to think back on that and read this now. Good on you, Keri!
