So before the quarantine started, my package was mis delivered to my previous apt. It was almost 2k order which included high end makeup and skin care products that my friend asked me to receive it so she ordered it under my name. It was 2 packages in total. When i went there package was gone and it was less than 1 hr of package being delivered according tothe tracking info. The girl came infront of apt i asked her if she knew who lives in XX unit in which she replied, “oh, l live there, but i didnt receive anything”. The package shows as signed by her bf’s name. I went to apt 3 times in total and finally when i knocked in her apt unit, her bf came out and i had to explain what happened and told him is odd thar package was missing when it shows its signed by his name and i have to file police report as recommended by the sender.

Then 30minutes later, i got a lengthy text from him explaining his gf stole it but she was embarrassed to admit it and he ended up reimbursing almost 600$ worth of products she opened. And she did this in 2 times in total. I dont believe when he said she made a mistake as she clearly discarded the order receipt that came with the products. But i decided to let it slide and take the apology.

I was surprised that the guy seems accepting of her gfs theft as if i were the guy or if gender roles were reversed, id never accept my bf doing these thins especially if we live together. I’ve experienced numerous times in life where i thought itd be fine to befriend someone even if the person is unethical as long as they seem ‘interesting or fun’ but it later proved they caused me so much damage and harm and i had to cut them out of my life.

So do you have experiences where you kept dating a a guy as he is nice to you and give you benefits but had morally gray area which later proved that he’s doing you more harm ?
