Hello everyone. I'm a refugee from the MensRights sub. I liked that place, until I got banned. And now no one will tell me why. But I suspect it's because reddit banned MGTOW recently, and MensRights fears they're next. The moderators had been floating the idea that they would crack down on their own members in order to spare themselves the scrutiny. I guess I probably have more extreme views than most, so I made myself a target. I wasn't extreme in the "I hate women" sense. It was more about shifting the Overton Window. I've never even looked at MGTOW, or Incel, if there even was one, but I'm sympathetic to them and I think they help our cause. It's important for every movement to have an extremist element, to stand on the front lines and take the heat. So I'm really disappointed with MensRights moderators for throwing people under the bus instead of standing their ground. Being submissive gives bullies the green light for more abuse, the kind of abuse that will be even more damaging than if they were to just ban us and get it over with.

What do left wing male advocates think about this? I've posted here once or twice. I'm not left wing so I don't think I fit in. Plus I tend to get banned everywhere I go, even on the debate subs, especially on the debate subs. Reddit culture as a whole seems particularly nasty to me, and I don't think enough people realize that more moderation will only make it worse because moderation is the tool driving the divide. There are people who walk on eggshells, and people who are untouchable, viewpoint privilege, to borrow leftist language. The other side plays as a team. We're a bunch of isolated individuals. I think it's probably a lost cause to try and get men to stick together.
