Has anybody any experience with work with children, either paid or (as in my case) as a volunteer? I get more and more the impression that as a man, and especially an older man, you're simply not accepted in the field and any excuse, however unreasonable, is brought up for concluding 'you may not be exactly the right person in this position'. And that over the years this phenomenon is getting worse.
