From recent pictures of the actress, she's already fat. I haven't watched the last seasons, but I have no doubt that it's strongly related to why she wore thicker and less revealing/form-fitting outfits than in the first seasons. Even computers can only change so much.

The reason she still looks good fat (and I agree with you I like curves) is because it's photoshop fat, not real fat. Even though they made her fat they still enhances certain curves that you want to see. The real kicker is that they should've photoshopped another 10 lbs on her face, then it would be an accurate, repulsive portrayal.
