The state is, in my mind, the judicial and legislative branches of government which create and enforce laws without regard to the will of the people, fairness, or the constitution. It is also the people who abuse said branches to unfairly manipulate and subject people to the rules. It is also weaponized against men to remove them from their children to create a situation where the state finances single motherhood and dictates the roles (or lack thereof) of parents, while also establishing the educational curriculum which indoctrinates society (our youth) to accept as normal situations against which previous generations would have railed.
To put it short, a society is men, women and children behaving in accord with certain laws. Our society - western society - has displaced the traditional parents with a mother and state while removing the men/fathers from parental duty, but holding the men responsible for funding the state. It's a rearrangement of indentured servitude which removes fathers from the home and makes children further susceptible to the normalization of the state and mother dynamic and rendering of males as the second class citizen worker mule status.
Women are children. Children are children. The state is tyranny and men are the only adults around upholding it all.
It's all artificial and unnatural and collapses the instant men wake up.
MGTOW is a flake, a remnant of the body of manhood, who recognize these truths whether or not they can articulate them thusly.

The United States Government is a great example of the state.

In our case, the state (Government) became a party to the marriage contract. Over 70% of divorces are initiated by women. No-fault divorce laws allowed women to weaponize the family courts.
The state gave women incentives to have children without fathers. The state gave single mothers, food, money, and in many cases--housing.
The state paid women alimony and exhorbitant child support (that does not even have to be used on the child). This, too was allowed to be weaponized through Title IV-D.
