Married here with a 15 month old daughter.

She's going to change. Somehow, someway, she will. She'll eventually get tired of something you currently do or don't do, even if she liked it at first or didn't seem to have a feeling about it. She'll bring it up to you in the most tactless way. Also, you'll get tired of something she does or doesn't do, and you'll have to bring it up in a very nice, tactful way or just swallow it and ignore it. If you bring it up, even tactfully, you are in for a fight. Maybe not a big one, but a fight nonetheless.

You are going to continue this forever. There will be times when she forgets that you need to be close and have intimate contact, not even including sex, and she'll act like its a big fucking deal to provide that closeness.

Just because you are married, it doesn't mean sex is guaranteed. You may have a woman that has a much higher sex drive than you. IF that's the case, you'll deal with a moody chick who takes your rejection like you hate her guts, regardless of the fact you love her. If she rejects you, well, you're a big boy, get over it.

For the good stuff. If she's loyal and all that, she'll always be there. Hopefully, she'll listen to you when you have problems and support your decisions. Hopefully, she'll be there to encourage you to pursue your hobbies and dreams. Hopefully, she'll be cool with you spending a night here and there with your friends and not her.

If she doesn't do that stuff now, she ain't gonna do when you are married.

Ask yourself, if you were to ask for a night to hang with your friends, would she be upset or supportive?

If you have a hobby, does she do little things to try to get you stop? IE, "I made plans for saturday...are you ok with skipping your softball tournament?" "baby, I want to cuddle tonight, I know you had plans with your friends, stay home, please?" "I don't like Jim, it would be nice if you didn't have to spend so much time with him..."...etc...

Just some insight to what I've experienced in my relationship and others. Some women manipulate more and some less, but they all will manipulate you in some fashion. They all will say shit to or about their husbands that would earn another man a black eye. It's up to you to make her be respectful when she speaks that way. It's up to you to be on your toes at all time to make sure she stays a responsible, respectful woman. Apparently, it's painfully easy for women to degrade into the worst human beings on the planet.

Here's the deal. My Ex-wife seemed like the perfect woman. Liked to cook, kept a tidy place, genuinely seemed interested in my hobbies and interests, seemed honest, and was great in bed. Guess what happened after we got married? The inverse, I was cooking, cleaning, working 2 jobs, shuttling our kids everywhere, sex? if she felt like it and even then it was pity sex which is actually more depressing than incel masturbating in my book. Marriage is the end game for women, you get married and you have no power in the relationship anymore, and people with absolute power do not respect those with none.

Marriage is great when it works. Make no mistake. But both of you have to make it work and honesty and communication are essential. Make sure she knows that you love and cherish her but make sure she respects you. This can be tough with her making more money but it's essential. When she stops respecting you everyone is fucked. My gut feeling is don't get married. But let me ask you what would be so wrong about saying yes now and then waiting a few years to truly make up your mind? It's not cruel or wasting your time to take as long as you need to make a decision that will literally be unrevokeabke for the rest of your life. Because trust me marriage doesn't actually end in divorce it's just modified.
