Hello MGTOW, I decided to quit lurking and introduce myself. I'm a bit of an anomaly here. I had my 30th wedding anniversary in December. I'd gladly sign up for 30 more too. You might reasonably ask what I'm doing here if I feel that way. . Well, I see the end of my marriage coming, although not for the usual reasons. She is terminally ill. This isn't a shocking thing. The first warning sign was way back in our early 20's. We married at 19 and 17 years old. At 22 she went to the doctor to find out why no babies were showing up, and got the initial diagnosis. We have had lots of time to process. Up until recently her only symptoms were infertility, unusual fatigue, and pain. In the past year it's become obvious that she's on the downhill slide. . So, we have been doing the terrible chores of end of life planning. I've also been doing a lot of thinking about how I will shape my life after she is gone. . I always wanted children. I'm not 50 yet. My wife's first college degree is in finance and accounting, so I'm going to be pretty comfortably set up. It's not unreasonable to think that I could find a woman in her early 30's to give me children. So, with my wife's blessing and encouragement I started very discretely window shopping. What I discovered is this...the first time around, I won the friggin Powerball jackpot of the relationship world. I'm pretty confident that a repeat win is pretty much statistically impossible. . My wife and I are old school RPG gamer nerds. We run a Dungeons and Dragons gaming group, so I know lots of women in the target age group. The ones who aren't mentally screwed up with intersectional feminism, are straight up mentally ill. . They seem to believe that they have no obligation to maintain fairness and balance in a relationship, because patriarchy, that's why. I've watched the following things happen in my gaming group:

  1. Young man had a philosophical discussion about gender politics with one of the ladies. Just a polite debate. She got butthurt, and said she had to leave the group because he was a rape threat. .
  2. Another young man brought a date to the game. My "crazy alarm" went off 15 seconds offer looking her in the eye and shaking her hand. Within a month she had become abusive towards him because he wouldn't buy her stuff. He broke it off. She slashed herself up with a knife, and told police he did it. .
  3. Another young man, a very good looking young man got divorce raped after the 3rd child. She said she wasn't really into men, but was with him because of his looks because she wanted pretty babies. She had all the babies she wanted, so she was leaving to go live with her side girlfriend. He fought for joint custody and visitation, and got hit by a fake child abuse charge. . Gentlemen...I've had a wonderful 30 year marriage in which I've been generally happy, but that is not a feat that I believe I could recreate despite 30 years experience at relationship negotiation. I will enjoy the time I have left with her, after which I have no expectation of ever meeting a sane and dependable women who knows how to play fair again. I guess I'll just go my own way.
