I make about $1300 every 2 weeks without overtime. My rent w/storage unit, sewer, and water alone is $1200. I currently have to pay my ex $1308.5 every month for the initial temporary child support on my 3 kids. I was able to get 1 day of overtime a week which paid for child support and kept me afloat on my paycheck. Overtime has gone away for my shift so I am screwed this summer and childcare went up. I have no idea how I'm going to manage. I have a court date soon I think to come to a more definitive amount. My only windows of minimal hope is that I'm currently working on a VA claim/appeal and hopefully can get some money she can't touch from that. I'm also planning to sue the dude she was texting who led to the divorce for Alienation of Affection here in NC.

Paying 54% of my income to my ex is fucking ridiculous though. She makes $18.50 an hour, I make $21. We managed just fine when I was the only one working with 2 kids at $20/hour and even baught the house she is living in off that. There is no way she needs $1308 a month for 3 kids to eat and have her mom watch them. Come tax time, I'm filling asap and claiming the kids since she doesn't have to pay taxes on child support. Why should she get free money she didn't earn just for taking my pay!

I'm going to get a vasectomy as soon as my finances are more stable to prevent any possibility of having kids and paying another cunt ever again.

Don't get married, don't co-habitate, don't have kids. It is not worth it.

Fucked up system. In my country child support is based on how much you can afford, which is based on the social minimum. You'll never able to fall below it and if you earn that much you wont have to pay support.

Its not like he has any freedom anyway when working to pay chuld support. He is a slave at that point. Imo, id take prison. When I was 21 (I'm 38 now), I had a one night stand with a gorgeous 36 year old woman. I had been sexually active previously and always, always wore condoms. Literally every single time.
