You are correct, sir, and your comment reminds me of Boxer the horse in Animal farm who believes that any problem can be solved if he works harder. Boxer is injured and the pig characters sell him to a knacker's yard, where old horses are slaughtered and the by-products are sent for rendering.
Thirsty men try to solve problems by working harder and acquiescing to women's demands and they are eventually sent to the knacker's yard of divorce court and misery.
