We could argue the weight of who gets fucked more, the dad who has to pay for a kid who isn't his, or the kid who finds out that the man who raised them isn't their dad / figures out mom is a slut all in one go. Mandatory genetic testing is the way to go.

I would consider myself part of the vocal minority. Also, this seems to be the position of the state, and I mean every state. Nobody wants to talk about biological paternity and why states say that in the interest of the state and the child, we're going to fuck non-biological fathers. If we're going to take EQUAL rights seriously then the rights of non-biological fathers need to be the first place to start. If your finances are going to be impacted by a child from the time that they are born until possibly 26 years of age, when they fall off of your insurance, you should have the right to only provide that support to children that you fathered.

The fact that this is even a debate is a disgrace.

It will never be a legal requirement to DNA test all births. BUT... cheap DNA testing kits could become a normal product available thru mail or at your local drugstore, similar to the availability and cost of pregnancy tests. And future generations of men can be educated as to these risks and not have a problem checking the DNA of their child against their own DNA.
