This is exactly the kind of stupid shit that makes it hard to go to a doctor anymore. Make no mistake, I'm trying to lose weight right now because physically I can feel the issues that even the weight I'm carrying causes. I haven't had a doctor yet that has come right out and been like "Dude, you're fat. Here's some workout plans and eating habits that will help you lose the weight." It's always "Well, physically, you're healthy!" Fuck all of that. I want the goddamn truth. Not some sugar coated lie. If there is some doctors out there "fat shaming", I wish some of them would move practices out to where I live. Maybe then I'd get the truth.

I don't know how these bitches suddenly think they know better than people who have been studying and training in healthcare all their lives. Must be some sort of deflection. It's easier to blame the doctor than to take responsibility and fix the problem themselves.

But unfortunately I live in a country with public healthcare, which means that these cunts are disobeying doctors orders and then ending up needing expensive treatment, that drives MY taxes up. The context from the article is a fat woman wanted birth control. Birth control combined with obesity are risk factors for heart disease. The doctor knew that if fatass strokes out after being prescribed birth control, she gets sued, so she denied the prescription.
