In my country these women would have gotten a literal middle finger with a clear cut message : "fuck off bitch. This is a man only place. The west is really sad place to live as a man. You cant even do anything in a "man to man" manner or "man only" manner, nor can you inspire pro masculine behavior without being intervened by a bunch of potato brain women.

My local cultural club only allows women on social cultural events(the big ones, like diwali etc). In other times, in small things like meetings, or moderately big things like men gatherings etc, only men are allowed.

All comes down to jealousy. Women often see their men hanging out with other guys and having a good time without them. The old boys did the right thing by disbanding officially and meeting unofficially. Why bother to be an actual official organisation (including following bullshit regulations, paying assorted fees, doing idiotic government-required paperwork and so on) when you can be a completely unofficial organisation and just do whatever the hell you want?

I have noticed that fewer men seem to belong to clubs in the modern era and I wonder if this is the reason why. Most men I know don't seem to belong to any specific clubs yet they are always getting together and doing things with other men.

What else are men to do in a world where women are allowed to expect all the benefits of male society while contributing nothing in return?

I think everyone is missing the point, when forced to change they just started throwing parties and hanging out in an unofficial way. Then they tried to make them stop and how exactly do you do that? They didn't.
