This is terrifying because the truth is who knows what the situation is . A great way to make someone vulnerable to crime is to have a woman pretending to be a victim . "Honeytraps" do happen . Men have been killed or hurt badly trying to be a whiteknight and trying to stop altercations that don't involve them .....

and yet as a human being of course I'd want to help another human being suffering and intervene if I could ...

I don't know that there is a right answer here , It's sad world we live in where people can manipulate altruism as a way to abuse someone

It's sad really. I'm a people-pleaser. If someone needs help, I want to help. But just like it would be incredibly foolhardy to try to take on a team of armed bank-robbers, it's similarly incredibly foolhardy to try to help a woman. All she has to do is say "that man who says he was just trying to help is the real rapist" and my life is over.

Sorry, I'm not putting myself under that kind of undue risk. People lie for all sorts of reasons, men and women (newsflash: people lie), and I never put myself in a he-said-she-said situation solely because of the bizarre presumption that women never lie.

I once got of the bus and saw an older woman running to catch the bus. I kept my leg on the door to keep it from closing and only removed it when the woman got on. She smiled and said thank you to me.

At the time I thought, "help people but not cunts."

3 seconds later, I shit you not, I saw the woman throw the bus window screaming at a younger dude for not immediately standing up to let her sit. Dude probably blue screened since he JUST saw her running, and yet she gets to take his seat while getting humiliated over nothing.

Point of the story is this; If you help a woman, some other guy will suffer, and there's nothing in it for you anyway.

Should've called the cops, no need to expose yourself but basic civil responsibilities should be upheld. Here in Germany one is required by law to help people, who are obviously in need.

Women despise and laugh at the suffering of men, when a woman suffers, should we run to help her? We don't owe them anything.

The thing about responsibilty to human being is be good. Advice them to ring emergency numbers if they need help. You've done good enough. Then go your own way. The natural order of things is you cannot be a hero.

I had a similar thing. Neighbour, who is an older woman, manufactures drugs in her house. One night, I heard screams, and a group of people came over and bashed her and her bf. Couldn't have cared less.

I once had to call the police, after hearing a woman cry for help. I was just chilling in my flat, she was outside on the street. Turns out some druggie had a knife to her throat. She ended up being ok, btw, but it must have been pretty terrifying.

FYI, I asked the policeman (who came to my house coz I called) if I did the right thing. Apparently I did. They don't encourage hero's, who make it worse. If I was a kick ass MMA guy, maybe I could have helped, but I'm not.
