Meh, I disagree with you. I have the same problem with those who are biased in their hatred against women, but I'd still call myself an MGTOW. I can completely distrust women when it comes to relationships (just like I wouldn't trust a male in a relationship, tbh); but I'd still have male and female friends. As long as the people are aware of the darkness within themselves and wish to deal with it, they can make great friends. But these people are rare (maybe even more so for women than men; maybe because women have less occasions where they're *alone* at the end of their rope and need to take a hard look at themselves; maybe this is biased or unfounded, maybe it's the truth, idk). Some people on here are categorically anti-woman, others just accept biological hypergamy and the manipulativeness of female social matrices as the fundamental obstacle to building the kind of relationship we'd be looking for as males (=the kind of relationship every media outlet and superhero story tells us should be our goal; one with tenderness and loyalty). As long as you're not trying to meet their standards, and women are not trying to get you to meet their standards, and you're not someone who could make alphas into "a creepy nerd like you" and not meet women's standards anymore, they can be fine to interact with on a non-sexual level. As fine as most men, which means all-in-all rather disappointing, but not predatory either. But for this reason I understand the attraction of being a monk as well: just let society be crazy on its own, and GYOW. Most people are just okay, and there are enough predators, even if they don't make up the majority, to rather not go meet people just to 'meet more people'. Especially in a time where I am guilty until proven innocent for something as heinous and life-threatening as a false rape accusation; and my career (or rather, my personal intellectual development) is more important to me than partners (or even friends, to some extent).

That's true but as I understand MGTOW they’re not necessarily women haters. It’s just that women loom large in preventing men going their own way and women have a higher profile because of it. Women are also a primary cause of men trashing their lives and becoming embittered, thus they are strongly represented as they can cause massive misery and damage stretching over generations. MGTOW doesn't mean women hating. That's a by-product.

How is there too much evidence to deny anything? I do believe the allegations may be true but the entire Swetnick affidavit is so bizarre to me.
It starts by saying as a teenage boy he made derogatory terms towards women, ok. Goes on to say that he was spiking drinks with "drugs and/or grain alcohol" which could also be interpreted as lawyer speak for "well he was certainly putting grain alcohol in the punch, maybe drugs too but I'm not sure." Discusses him and other people hitting on girls and targeting girls who are alone--which, yeah, at parties I would also try to hit on girls who are alone rather than ones in groups. Says she saw him in line to run a train on a drunk girl---alright, definitely makes him look fucked up. Yet she also says she attended TEN of these parties over two years where this was happening. She kept going to them. Then at one of them she has a spiked drink and is gang raped (who could've seen that coming). The phrasing leading up to this event makes it seem like 1) that Kavanaugh was spiking drinks at this particular party and she was in turn spiked by him; and 2) that he was an accomplice to her rape, yet she never says that he actually did either of these in this instance. She mentions Kavanaugh is "present" when she gets raped. So he's present at the party? Where? The other side of the house? In the room watching?
The whole story is so weird and worded in a way where its obvious how they want it to be read. Yet the only actual allegations are that he was mean to women, put things in the party punch (we used to put grain alcohol in punch all the time) that MAYBE included drugs, and that he was in line for at least one train. I've noticed anyone who brings these points up are instantly hit with "VICTIM BLAMING, VICTIM BLAMING." I mean shit, how can you not blame her in this instance after she literally went to ten gang rape parties where she knew the drinks were spiked then got gang raped from a spiked drink. That's a whole new level beyond "she was wearing revealing clothing." She is also 2-3 years older than Kavanaugh, so she was a college student attending these spiked-drink gang rape high school parties for some reason.
He very well could be some serial gang rapist, they certainly exist and I'm sure there are a number of politicians that have done it. But there is not too much evidence of anything. It being an affidavit means nothing, there is no risk to Swetnick facing perjury charges because there is no way for anyone to prove this absolutely DIDN'T happen 36 years ago.
