Longtime lurker here, got introduced to red pill stuff mainly by the rational male, have read other related blogs and also TRP reddit, but reading MGTOW reddit, I feel like it's probably more suited to my nature.

Anyhow, I'm 35, and pretty much all of my friends are from high school. We all grew up in the bay area, everyone's pretty successful, so no reason for anyone to leave really. So we've all known each other for a really long time. Everyone's either fairly newly married, just married, or about to get married. After my best bud gets married this May, I'll be the last one left. It's tough to be in this environment because I've found it increasingly difficult to see friends without their wives/gfs. They all face "restrictions" now (for example, one guy is being prevented from going to bachelor party as he told me grim-faced "wife has very low tolerance for bach parties right now"; another guy couldn't have coffee with an old friend and me b/c his wife wanted him to take her shopping smh). I took a stand recently and refused to attend co-ed baby showers (dunno about you guys but they're pretty much the norm around here now) , but all my friends happily attend. It's shameful. When I try to introduce some red pill concepts to friends, I get met with white knighting more often than not and NAWALT counters. I'm hearing "happy wife happy life" constantly. It's maddening, but they are my circle of friends.

Personally, I don't have interest in completely unplugging from society. I want to remain friends with all or most of these guys. I like having a social life. Curious about others' experience. Are losing these friendships inevitable?

Even though I totally embrace red pill concepts, I have to admit I still get feelings of insecurity knowing I'm the only non-married one and all the others seemingly enjoying their blue pill married lives.
