At this point, I actually loathe the thought of dating or entering a LTR. My lifestyle is too damn good to surrender. It's perfect. However, every time we meet my mother keeps putting pressure on me to have a kid, while giving me the NAWALT schtick, and the girls in my social circle are now hopping off the carousel en masse. I know that they only want $$$. I'm having to dodge bullets left and right. If I didn't have a stable job, I'd get the fuck outta here. I don't want anything to do with these vacuous, vapid chicks who only care about handbags, selfies, starbucks, and social status. I just wish my mother and female family members would get over it already. Once these Eastern European women got here, the embraced all of the negative traits of American women. They're mindless, narcissistic consumerist zombies, nothing more. I'm not attaching myself to them, or anybody else for that matter.

I had an OKCupid date scheduled last month and I canned the whole deal on a whim. My split second reasoning was this: why go through all that trouble just to get your dick wet? I would need to expend hours of my precious time in showering this shallow, fat, ugly bitch with complements and attention. It's just not worth it. I've since deleted my account too.

Well considering she had told me previously she had a few other dates lined up, I weighed my options and came to a few conclusions.

She isn't that physically attractive, even if she is a rarity for a black woman. She believes men should pay and she wont have sex till she is married.
I realized it would have been a lot of work and risk spoiling my travel plans just to get no sex.
She had other dates.

I weighed my options and noped the fuck outta there. First time I rejected a date. It actually felt good.

I'm curious: do you consider any form of dating detrimental too your lifestyle/mgtow philosophy?

I haven't been on a date in years but even if I had decided to go out, my goal is to find some companionship and love without committing. I don't really think there's anything wrong with dating while not marrying/committing to somebody.

It does. On the other hand if you feel like pushing your luck you could see how much she's willing to pay to date you, instead of the other way around. But ya, being around women has its limits. Even at their most pleasant, looking hot and not trying to pick a fight, they can switch to such absurd levels of irrationality whereas men usually just won't. It's just ingrained to the smallest items of thought/emotion and the largest scope of how they direct their lives, these women can't help it.

I try to cut them some slack when they are clearly trying to be pleasant. As long as they're making the effort I will a little. When I need my alone time I'm out. If I see an intentional move to use irrationality and/or feelz to start an argument, I'm out. I know after experience that I have nothing to gain by going down that road with them.

I've done the same thing nothing too spectacular. Not that she was overly "Sad" in fact far from it. Had the overly friendly type of personality. Less of a "probe" date and more of a 1 on 1 hangout. What's the difference though.
