Feel free to rail on me if you guys want. It's just been a long time and I thought things would be different this time. Even my father told me that I was too young to not give it another chance and he's been through much worse.

//As some of you know, I got cheated on a while ago and it really tore me up. I tried to move on and started talking to this seemingly "nice" girl and a co-worker of mine told me that they were friends and that she was really nice and had told her that she'd date me in a heartbeat if I ever asked her out. This friend also knew the kind of guy I was and knew about my brutal breakup as well, she told me how sweet her friend was and that she'd never even had a boyfriend before. Having had my self-esteem and ego put through the wringer, and also having been interested in this girl before; I decided to give it a shot.

I asked her out, she said yes, and me trying to be honest, I explained to her my prior relationship drama and that I wasn't 100% just yet, but that I wanted to take things slow anyway and get to know her first. She agreed with that and over the span of two weeks, we'd talk and do stuff; but I'd always be the one initiating. Her friend would always tell me how she talks to her about our conversations and how great of a conversationalist I am and how well reasoned/funny I am. I liked that, but it didn't sit right with me because one of the things I really came to dislike was how in my previous and first relationship, everything I talked to that girl about, all of her friends would know; even very private personal things about myself. Still I shouldered on, bolstered and truthfully excited about the possible future with this girl. I just liked her for her and didn't care about the doubts she'd at times express about her future line of work and so on; I just wanted someone to be loyal, caring and to share my life with.

Well she was graduating from her hairstyling course during our second week of talking/going out and so far I had been paying for our going out(drinks/food) and what have you. Again due to the nature of her program and still living with her parents, I had no qualms about paying as I knew she didn't have much of an income at the time. I thought things were going well, but having to initiate many times was putting me off ease and I tried to blame it on trust issues that I was struggling with. Well, I had to work on the night of her graduation/party and told her that a week in advance, she was fine with it and I told her I'd take her out the next day. That night I don't hear from her, but text her goodnight anyways, then a mutual male friend texted me and said, "Bro, I just saw your girl making out with some guy at an expensive club downtown!". My heart dropped as I had massive flashbacks to what had just happened moths prior in my other relationship. I told her how fragile I was and everything, what was she doing? The next day comes around and I play it cool, ask her how the party was etc and she mentions nothing about the other guy. I finally confront her politely and she says that it was a brother of her friends and that he was just cuter, shrugging. Shrugging. I was obviously upset but didn't let it show and she gave me the usual spiel about being friends, I wanted to be rude about it, but just didn't care anymore and said she should totally do that and we could remain friends. Yeah, guess who never texted or called again. She came with her friend to our holiday party two weeks ago as a +1, but also brought her boyfriend(different guy than the one she had been making out with apparently) and she was dressed up as a cat with a collar, wearing a miniskirt and he was holding a chain that he would latch onto her collar every now and then. *Shrug* So much for a sweet, loving and innocent girl that would be perfect for me.//

I don't know what the point of even posting/sharing this with you guys is. "awalt", "play stupid games", "back to the plantation", etc. It's just...it's horrible, you know? I feel so horrible not being able to trust what any woman even says anymore. I guess I just wanted to believe, to have a solid, fruitful relationship for once in my life, just once; so I can say "well I went through shit, but got one, so mgtow and my trains of thought wasn't so good". But here I am, again. I'm just so spent and exhausted emotionally and spiritually, I don't even know what to do anymore.
