We had some of those not so long ago. They came here en-masse, some from TRP as well. They were posting delusional ideas like wanting to get married or have an LTR "on their terms" (or as they put it "with full control of their women), have kids to "continue the mgtow legacy" and labelling it as being a full-blown mgtow through and through. Thankfully the mgtows here didn't fall for it and called them out on their bullshit, they haven't been seen here since.

I'm married, and I can say that I agree with the MGTOW movement. I'm not MGTOW, obviously, due to me being married. Some of the concepts apply to me, some don't.

I can say that if I were to not be married any more, I doubt I would ever take up another relationship.

I do stuff with her that I really don't care about, but I also do stuff for myself. She had to come to terms with that, and since I put my foot down about it, she's accepted it quite well.

There are those of us that browse this sub that are like me. We got married, had kids, etc and then found MGTOW or TRP. We can't leave due to financial reasons or we still care about our partners or even "better the enemy you know than the one you don't."

Go ahead, take the freedom, post your stories and let some of us live a little vicariously through you.

I'm married, and I'm a MGTOW sympathizer. Don't shun us married folks just on principle, guys. I'll happily accept some other title: "MGTOW wannabe", "MGTOW brethren", whatever it is that is palatable to you folks. We're your older brothers. We got married way back before the Internet was a thing. Now we're here to warn you with our tales of woe and regret and our woulda-coulda-shoulda warnings so that you stay string in keeping your freedom, protecting it from attempts to shame you back to the plantation.

We envy you little punks with your shiny MGTOW badges and there's no need to shove it in our faces :-)

As Shi-nu Asami on YouTube said, the beauty of MGTOW is that there are no Leaders. There SHOULDN'T be. Because the feminists will target those leaders and tear them down and try to kill the movement. Which led me to think : MGTOW is a distributed, peer-to-peer, guerilla warfare design, that, by the wonders of graph theory, cannot be killed due to some centralized figure tumbling down. Thus, by the nature of this distributed design, weird little cliques such as Black-people-only MGTOW, married-but-wannabe-MGTOW, etc; will form (and die). But there is an identifiable central idea, and that cannot be killed off. This is the beauty of MGTOW. Just be tolerant of fringe groups that form (and die) naturally, and do the right thing that rings true to your heart. As long as it doesn't involve letting some bitch parasite off of your productive energies.

Which reminds me : I regularly donate to MGTOWs on YouTube via Patreon / PayPal. So us older, married, folks at least have a use to you younger / single proud-as-a-peacock MGTOW mofos : we're here to support you in spreading the word. This is a war, and we can do a LOT more by sticking close together, helping each other via donations, offering jobs, offering shelter, when good men get in trouble when targeted by a cruel feminist (or 1000; they hunt in packs).

Look at the German student who was falsely accused of rape and then that bitch carried her mattress around campus and made a huge art thing out of it, and got a lot of attention. Her charges were dismissed by the school because of lack of proof (and of course, she never filed a police complaint because that would bring some real scrutiny to her case), but now, that guy is fucked. I want to help him. Where's the support network for men? True, MGTOW means going your OWN way, but that doesn't mean that help is unwelcome. We're not going to succeed by being lone wolves. They're going to hunt you down. We need to form a mutually-beneficial support network.

At least that's my take on it. I speak as if I'm right but listen as if I'm wrong. Feedback welcome.

Freedom principle - that's how I decide what I'll do with a woman. Living together, buying her expensive dinners or wasting my time? Whatever it is, honey. If something is infringing on my freedom - I'm simply not interested. MGTOW is about freedom, that's the only rule we have. Married men calling themselves MGTOW? That's funny. You're living with a woman and you call yourself MGTOW? That's funny. You're going on a long walks with her, bored to death and you call yourself MGTOW? You know one of the things I simply can't understand is how even AFTER taking the redpill some people CONTINUE to date, associate, pedal to their 'unicorn' etc. I can understand wanting sex, I mean it's difficult to overcome biology. But rubbing one out or visiting an escort EASILY takes care of that.

As for the guys awakened while married, well I wish you the best of luck and hey at least you'll have some chance of surviving if you know your enemy better, but no you're not MGTOW.

Absolutely. It's part of the cycle of ideology (and we at MGTOW are an ideology). In search for a bigger base we might lose our goals. But staying true will keep us small and marginalized. I think what your seeing there is men who are still ruled by their biology and somewhat still plugged into society.

Our biology as men is written in that we are wired to desire women and sex. Society constantly tells men they should get married and commit to one women. If they don't or "can't do that" then they are not good men.

What society tends to fail at telling men or don't do so purposely is that men are fully capable of living without women. In fact they try to do the opposite and sell men into needing women and their validation to live a fulfilling lives.

Of course this act is what repulses women but women do not want to admit it nor does society. Because there is a billion dollar industry build around it. Perhaps is what 90% of our economy is build around. Being good enough for women.

It creates an abundance of men out there spending money and giving her money to spend on shit that we don't need. It creates insecurity in men and women into buying stuff that we think will win over the one we desire.

Men aren't going to the gym to be healthy, they are doing it to impress women and get laid. Men aren't only making lots of money to buy lots of things they want but also to attract a women into their life.

So MGTOW is the only ones outside of Buddhism and some other near enlightened groups that are not putting their happiness, fulfillment and freedom in the hands of another. Or in the hands of their biology.

Men do not need women. We do not need to impress anybody. I find as I get further down the rabbit hole is that the only thing that truly matters to me is that I'm able to get past my own ego and to get over my own fears.

To evolve. To become a better man. One that is not dependent on anybody else or anything to make me happy and free.

There are tons of things for me to improve at, but as a MGTOW none of them have anything to do with making women more attracted to me.
