I told my supervisor off 2 weeks ago to her face, she ran away, didn’t speak to me for 2 weeks (silent treatment) and now she’s being all nice to me, talking to me kindly and being all sexy. You don’t know how hard I’m watching my back, brothers.

Definitely get into CYA mode. NEVER a good sign when women start behaving like her. She probably has the wheels turning in her head on how to get back at you. I feel for you.
[–]TheRabbitTunnel16 points17 points18 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Its good to watch your back, but her being friendly/sexy could just be her respecting you. Notice how women are never romantically interested in white knights who put them on a pedestal? If you do something like tell a woman off, they will be offended/mad in the moment, but will see you as more socially dominant. She could like you now. Probably best to stay away though.

Aw fuck, that’s true too. Ew, she’s married though! Sadly, hypergamy exists.

Because no man has ever had a female supervisor they got annoyed with enough that they told them off? In my work place, I've seen a man tell our male supervisor off, and the supervisor avoided confrontations and interactions with him for numerous days. So what's unlikely about this?
[–]PickleSpicRick-1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Cause in the real world that doesn’t happen. Let’s be honest with ourselves. I know this is a women bashing subreddit but let’s be real. He told a female supervisor off and then after 2 weeks of the silent treatment she started being sexy with him enough for him to “watch his back”? Yeah ok
[–]-Fender-0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
women bashing
lol
As for the rest, it happens. And a man should always watch his back, in the workplace or in the rest of his life. False accusations are rampant. Cover your ass, always.

[–]GuyChamomille24 points25 points26 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
This is real ecclesiastical knowledge with the passing of the years. Saint were saints because the found the key to establish a real communication with God, and they overcame the mundane temptations as women really are. I look up to them but in this hypersexualized world is an uphill battle. Never we will hear this kind of words at church, any single one, either Catholic or Protestant, due to the fact they have been totally feminized. I understand why some people loathe religion: because the current one is an earthly offshoot, having no relation with the true wisdom that we can find in the Bible. So whenever someone tells us our way of life is not based in Christian principles, tell them to f*k of for the simple reason the Apostles were more MGTOW than any one of us could be.

It’s ridiculous that they walk around with either the tightest yoga pants to where you can see there ass crack and vaginas and/or tight pants that barely cover their ass cheeks. How am I supposed to look away and not notice those enormous juicy bare legs? They might as well be walking around naked.
[–]GuyChamomille1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I guess St. Ignatius or other saints didn't have to deal with barely naked girls everywhere pal. What a great time to test our lust nowadays.

Infact what is called the dark age, the medieval age. Was not that dark. Many agree that there was more to come and significant discovery at that time than at our time, the modern era.
It is just in a desire to beautify an increasingly decadent everyday life that we have begun to describe ancient times as the "dark age".
For saying "you complain but compare to before you are very good". And queep the flock undercontrol.
[–]omnicorn_persei_87 points8 points9 points 6 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
No it was called the dark ages because we were in the dark about what happened. There is little written history from when Rome left to the norman occupation.
[–]Kemuser1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
By Norman occupation you mean when Rome conquered and occupied North Africa. Or when Rome is conquered by the barbarians from the north. His north. The Germans . In both cases the story is pretty well provided. The term "dark age" appeared at the same time as the "century of lights",during the 18th century, to make a contrast in the before and the after.
[–]omnicorn_persei_83 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
No after Rome left and before the Norman's (nowadays Normandy) ruled England. That period has little written history.
[–]adool6661 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
As an Arab, we have a shit tonne of recorded history about the dark ages.

I'm not saying we have no written records of it, I'm saying compared to the Roman occupation before and the norman occupation after, there is relatively little written records.

Dark Ages (historiography)
The "Dark Ages" is a historical periodization traditionally referring to the Middle Ages, that asserts that a demographic, cultural, and economic deterioration occurred in Western Europe following the decline of the Roman Empire. The term employs traditional light-versus-darkness imagery to contrast the era's "darkness" (lack of records) with earlier and later periods of "light" (abundance of records). The concept of a "Dark Age" originated in the 1330s with the Italian scholar Petrarch, who regarded the post-Roman centuries as "dark" compared to the light of classical antiquity. The phrase "Dark Age" itself derives from the Latin saeculum obscurum, originally applied by Caesar Baronius in 1602 to a tumultuous period in the 10th and 11th centuries. The concept thus came to characterize the entire Middle Ages as a time of intellectual darkness between the fall of Rome and the Renaissance; this became especially popular during the 18th-century Age of Enlightenment. As the accomplishments of the era came to be better understood in the 18th and 20th centuries, scholars began restricting the "Dark Ages" appellation to the Early Middle Ages (c.
