If you have the money, get stocks. They will shoot up when this is over.

Invest in bitcoin after a large drop and when the economy is doing well (treat it like gold).

I am thinking about investing in the stock market while it is low, not bitcoin. I read that with the halving coming up soon there could be a steep decline in mining and I get nervous with scams like PlusToken occurring too often. I am an investment newbie so look at this as more of a question than a statement.

The fact bitcoin has almost halved in value just shows that it lacks inherent value. Not saying you won't make money from it but it's just gambling

My problem with cryptocurrencies is there is a transaction fee you have to assume with any use of it. That fee is not standardized or in your control.

Waiting for deeper crashes, but bought already some a week ago.

I am primarily interested in Ethereum, though. Upgrades are coming, and I hope it crashes nicely within the next few weeks so I can gobble up some.

With great risk comes great reward.

I started buying in the fall 2019, and gradually each month since. I've bought a good amount since it dropped to 5k. At this point, it could drop even more, or it could start going back up.

Either way, it's money I know I might never see again, so just be smart about it and don't put in money you will need quick access to.

I'm actually thinking about selling my bitcoin. I realize that is counter-intuitive but, I plan to sell some bitcoins to buy an alt-coin.

I have $350 US ready to buy BTC if it drops to $3,500. I don't think it will drop that low, but it's ready to catch it.

I don't trust BC at all. Why? Because I don't understand it. I can't see the monetary value of algorithms to calculate things for 99% of the whole deal.

Bitcoin started to drop when China infected count peaked (with 1-2 days lag). My conclusion: BTC was used to transfer money outside of China, rally and subsequent drop was tied to it. Better wait for similar country to get infected, then it will raise because of use, not just speculation.

not exactly bitcoin, but other cryptos.

One of my most favorite is electroneum.

The team behind it wants mass adaptation, they want to create a working digital currency on mobile phones.

They want to follow regulations (i hate regulations, but like that i think my assets will be more secure than with other cryptos)

They have mobile mining, partnerships and a working product.

The total supply is pretty high, the trading volume is low, because it wasnt listed on any big exchanges yet. I bought half a million of those coins and am planning to buy more since its cheap and if everything goes according to plan and it will reach mass adaptation, then i expect it to reach the value of 1-10$ per coin in the comming few years.

But if everything goes really great, then it might be worth more than 10$ in the future.
