I’ve noticed this sub switched from divorce stories when it was first gaining traction to a lot of young angst. I am here to say...it gets way easier.

The women that used to command your biology will get old. They will get fat, they will get wrinkles, they will get that feeling a lot of older women talk about, becoming virtually invisible. I look back at the girls that I went for in high school, even the ones you think that could never look bad inevitably do.

The aspects of relationships you feel like you are missing out on aren’t that big of a deal. When you find yourself missing out or wanting “something more” you’ve gotta realize that you’re only craving the best possible outcome of a relationship. That’s important to remember, the best possible outcome.

You’re not thinking about the other outcomes. Being divorced at 40, her getting fat after pregnancy, terrible communication constantly being excused because of hormones, cheating, the crippling monotony that hits relationships years in, or raising kids with someone that never learned how to take accountability. Her holding resentments over your head from years ago.

Your relationship could becoming sexless. She could set you back decades financially. Develop an addiction to clown paint and MLM schemes. You go from the couple that argues to the couple that just doesn’t give a damn anymore. By this time you won’t even want to have sex, believe it or not it gets boring as hell with the same person.

Why do these guys stick around? I’m willing to bet every single guy in here has been taught their entire life to be a good man, and to be good to women regardless of how they treat you. To be selfless despite your own happiness. The thing is they’ve forgotten to teach this to women, instead they teach them in terms of what they “deserve.” But that’s another rant for another time...

Just give it time my dudes. Learn an instrument, try out photography, travel, stay in shape, pay off a house, go to a brothel and see how sex really isn’t that big of a deal. Once you’ve smashed with one you’ve smashed with them all. You wanna know what’s crazy about pussy? There’s nothing in there.

When you get old you will realize why people feel bad for women who haven’t married and feel envious of men who are single.

So to all the Gen Z guys I say slow and steady wins the race. We can sit back in 10-20 years from now and watch all these Instagram narcissists have complete mental breakdowns as society reaches a mental health epidemic never before seen from the comfort of a house that is completely payed off.
