Growing up, my mother painted cooking as such a tiresome and brutal chore I never learned. During my marriage I resorted to eating out or frozen food. Now that I've learned to not only cook but enjoy creating my own meals, it's been a blast. Cooking for my kids is a blast and I try to pass this joy on so my kids don't have the same negative associations with cooking that I had.

Cooking well, eating on the cheap that way and eating a lot more healthy than with ready made food / fast food is easy once you get the hang of it.

Just skip recipe sites and learn to cook from scratch by feel. You'll quickly notice which ingredients match and you'll develop your own cooking style from there.

I recommend cutting out any ready made stuff like bullion cubes mentioned in that article as it's just overpriced junk that's bad for you (just look at the actual ingredients).

Any MGTOW should learn to be a self reliant healthy eater instead of feeding political correct ready made food / fast food corporations that push the feminist agenda while destroying people's health.

In fact the whole fast food and ready made food industry is just as bad as feminism by legally turning people towards unhealthy, unnatural lifestyles.

A healthy diet should be paleo (either with or without meat) - meaning just unprocessed ingredients with few exceptions such as naturally fermented foods.

Women these days can't cook to save their lifes anyway and the likeliness of a woman ever serving you elaborate multi-part meals like in the 50s are slim to none.

Good advice as far as it goes...

Unfortunately (at least with the examples given) it doesn't go far enough.

What it is missing is proteins (and fats) and any assistance or advice towards proper cooking of meat & animal products -- which is really NOT that complex (it's just different) -- and which is/alas a primary deficit among most young people these days (most of whom -- thanks to the government & schools {and parents who don't know any better themselves} -- have been "fed" a huge amount of really crappy dietary advice).

If there are 3 things everyone should have access to in a basic kitchen, a sharp knive, flour, and a home made stock.
