I have no objections to sensible MGTOW+TRP posters.

The only imperatives that we can generally agree on here are:

1 don't marry

2 don't cohabitate

3 don't get trapped with a baby

Those 3 don't rule out a girlfriend, but complete redpill knowledge will let a man see how little such a relation is actually worth, so I would expect a TRP-MGHOW to be less of a desperate pick-up-artist and be more reliant on just having natural good looks and not having to expend effort to gain IL.

Such men can talk sense about the nature of women from their experiences, but when they talk about game, they are just wasting everybody's time.

I am a married man. I would have liked to have known the things ive learned here 30 years ago. I will be the first in line to say dont get married. Don't do what i have done. Definitely needed to see this post. There's so many faux MGTOWS now who are in relationships or even married. No, there are no unicorns or nawalts. Yes she will fuck you over if she get's the chance. I think the only time I'll respect someone who's in a relationship/marriage who claims to be MGTOW is if they're actively trying to leave that relationship, or they're staying for the sake of their children. Hey there, and apologies.

I contributed to the necessity of this post with recent comments of mine. I saw facettes of MGTOW and thought that they overlap with my life choices, so I felt like I belonged.

I understand now that this is not the case. I did not mean to infiltrate or sabotage anyone's efforts, and I hope that I did not simply because I described how my life works at the moment.

Before I commented I have been lurking a few weeks after finding out about the sub and saw many posts that I would absolutely agree with. Posts about how women fuck you over if you let them, so don't let them. And I still consider this to be true.

However, I see that you guys want to be to yourself and consider me to not belong here. If I don't get banned I'll continue to look at your posts for the occasional agreeing chuckle. I'll just leave you to yourself now then.

Hope you're all successful and I didn't disturb much. Bye :)

I only agree with you 98%.

By that, I mean there are guys here in marriages/with kids that WANT to be 100% MGTOW but are stuck in a situation where they could end up in a WORSE position than when they started (divorce rape/custody or support rape). And before I get the stupid "LOL BRO JUST DIVORCE HER AND LIVE IN THE WOODS"... that comment is indicative of the sheer stupidity of the user. I have seen men I knew CLEANED OUT and working 2 jobs because the wife games the system and he thought he had an "easy out". Shut isnt always black and white. Many men I know chose the "lesser evil" and are stuck in dead marriages until the kids are 18.

While I understand your position, I think there are plenty of guys here that "found out too late".

Perhaps there should be a separate term.

That's just my position. Other than that I agree, being in a relationship is counterintuitive to MGTOW

I might get some downvotes for this, but this is more a theoretical point than a counter point to OP post. Allthough I agree that as a MGTOW it is almost impossible to keep your way up if you are in a relationship, co habitte, married, having childeren, I would almost call them necessary conditions for MGTOW. I do not like the fact that there are so called rules for MGTOW, since in my interpretation of MGTOW it is about you as a man learning how to navigate in this modern world in which women has gone to shit and there is a structual system working against you. And to do learn how to navigate the formentioned almost necessary conditions are probabbly very necessary. However I do not believe that saying, these are the rules and you must follow then or else you are not MGTOW or a blue pill/simp/incell whatever is the right way to go. This makes us kind of sound like a cult, like we are telling other men what to do, which in my opinion seems counter intuitive to the MGTOW idea, since it limits a mens freedom. Ofcourse I could be wrong, but thought this point should atleast be considerd.

Men in relationships aren't MGTOW but they CAN support MGTOW and their style of living, and they CAN wish that the were in a position that allowed them to become fully MGTOW. I mean... just because you only recently learned the truth, doesn't mean you would volunteer for divorce rape, lifetime alimony, childcare etc. Some men will endure their hardships as men have and are still doing it on a daily basis, while finding some happiness spreading MGTOW knowledge around - men CAN be happy for other men and CAN and WILL help other men.
Some men are situations that are not as DIRE as some MGTOW and non-MGTOW men are going trough right as we speek. Some men made decisions that cannot be turned back just because they wish they didn't make some decisions.
Some men are dependent on their spouse families... I mean, if you are Vice president of a company owned by your father-in-law, you aren't going to quit your job, and risk not getting such a cushy job, just because the wife does or doesn't do XYZ....
Some people have made long time commitment, some have kids, and they are not about to make their lives hell... they will stick it up for their sake.
Some men aren't MGTOW at this moment. This doesn't mean they will not be MGTOW in the future, or they won't introduce other men into MGTOW - thus improving other men's lives.
Some men are in a relationship for convenience, but they don't have partners - more like friends or room-mates.
Some men are not in countries where divorce is an easy task, is frowned upon, or is a plausible option. What if your wife doesn't have family or friends and she moved or migrated from a different city / country and is entirely dependent on you - she does not go out on herself, she does not meet people, she does not have or is able to have activities outside of the house. What if your wife is disabled. If you want to be MGTOW, should you leave her? Some men are not in a position to abandon their spouse just because. It doesn't mean those men are faulty people. Just their situation is different.
Also, some men are dependent on their spouses - older men who are of frail health, or are disabled - they don't have family or friends, and they cannot depend on healthcare or cannot afford care - are in relationships just so they have someone to take care of them, instead dying because lack of care in an old folkes home - where nurses treat you like a parasite or a piece of meat to toss around...
And final point. Not being a MGTOW doesn't exclude men in participating in this forum. MGTOW welcomes all men. Incels, normies, MGTOW, and non-MGTOW alike. We are here to share, support, advice and improve lives of other men. Exclusion based on some arbitrary RULES is not the MGTOW way - there are no rules - as long as you are happy - you should be free to call yourself whatever you want. I'm not here to judge you or deny you anything.

As long as posts like that stay a very small minority of posts and comments, they aren’t a serious issue. I’ll start having a problem when it dominates the discussions on this subreddit.

I may get some downvotes for this, but I'll admit that I have a GF. I don't represent myself as a spokesman for MGTOW, though. I'm actually here to learn from some MGTOW members; not the ones who just like to rag on women, but the ones who are actually doing something with their lives. There was one member who paid off his child support then went into monk mode and eventually saved up $200k. Others focus on their education, careers, travelling, etc. I love reading about all that shit and am motivated by it. They're really doing great things with their time, and I find it humorously ironic that they're becoming the catch that women want but can't have because of their own doing. These men are a real inspiration.

I went through divorce 15 years ago and got hosed, so I'm one of those guys who won't ever marry again, don't cohabitate, no more kids (so a woman can't use my heart and soul against me ever again), invest my money how I want, and I focus on my happiness. My GF of 9 years lives with my choice. She has her own place and our money is completely separate.

There are things I like about women, and I still have a sex drive. I just keep them at arm's length. Letting them get too close is a risk to my life's goals, finances, and happiness. I've already had those things taken away, and having my kids used against me was a stab to the heart. I'm much happier not needing someone to "complete" me.

Anyway, that's my story. I understand OP's complaint, but I feel like most inactive members are on here because they realize they need a little MGTOW in their lives to have balance, or maybe to plan for the aftermath of their uncertain marriage/relationship, or maybe to just dream of independence while living through your stories. Separatists may not like it, but the good, productive members here do give back to these men, and I feel that's noble.
