I never paid marriage any mind, growing up I found making money to either be very difficult or when I did get better jobs, the work took up all my time and I'd go a little crazy. I work in a field now where people put in crazy hours; most of the folks here, male and female, find it hard to make ends meet and have a family at the same time.

I always came to the same conclusion that if I made good money and I met a great woman I'd get married, neither one has happened so I never let marriage pushers push me.

I used to think marrying a woman who made really good money and had a big beautiful house would be the way to go.

No. They think they have control of you if you move in with them. They know they have all the cards and can make demands of you. Like demand an open relationship where she can bring home men and fuck them in her bed while your downstairs watching football.

That happened to me. Fortunately I didn’t marry her. She changed after weight loss surgery, getting a big promotion at work, and buying a huge new house.

All she wanted was my share of her bills to be paid. That’s it.

You have no idea (actually you probably do) how much agony it causes me seeing this rhetoric after having already once lost pretty much all of my shit and my children who I see maybe 30 days a year and have to pay my ex wife and her husband who didn't hold a job for six years, 45% of everything I make for close to 20 years.

She just up and leaves out of the blue one day and takes the kids and takes everything and I get shoved off to a rented room in a shit part of town and the courts just take 45% of my net pay right out of my pay check and hand it right over to her and her unemployed husband.

I think the worst part of the whole thing is how my parents don't understand how this works. They don't understand the impact of the property division, wage garnishment and effects of my credit. They just see my life falling apart and her doing just great because everything is given her. My parents think its still 1950 and that women are just beat around and mistreated and that life really is hard for her.

My mom says stuff like, "Oh look how she's doing so well! Good for her!" "You just don't understand how hard it is for a single mother out there! I'm tired of hearing you complain".

My Dad says shit like' "You're an embarrassment". "When are you gonna pull your head out of your ass and un-fuck your life?" He's never interacted with my social media and pictures of me and my kids on fb, even when I was married. Now he's all over my ex wife's face book liking family portraits and posts that don't include me and do include her new husband. The Guy who's first experience out of his moms house at 29 is my ex wife and her welfare and my support payments, in a house given to them by her father.

My entire social value is based on what other people see me taking in, monetarily speaking.But since shit really isn't coming in, I'm just cast out.

The whole experience has destroyed my relationship with just about everyone in my life. Especially my parents. I don't contact them much any more due to the unfair treatment. Its pretty messed up because I do love them and my dad is on the way out with cancer (the only reason Im remaining in touch) and he's going to die believing my circumstances are entirely because I'm a loser or someone like a drug addict. I'm a former Marine, went through a fucked up experience with the Marines, ex wife left me when I got out of the military and I acquired a good job as a train conductor. But because of the fuckery, my dad equates it to something akin to being a meth addicted bum who works at McDonalds. By the time my pay comes back and I can fix my life, he likely won't be here to see it.

That treatment pales in comparison to what her family ended up treating me like after divorce. I genuinely never did anything bad to her or ever mistreated her. She left because "she wasn't happy" and "Didn't wanna be JUST a mom". But her dad treats me like I was beating his daughter. I never even raised my voice to her until the night she had me served with divorce papers./rant

You see these idiots espousing this rhetoric and as much as you just have to ignore them and walk away from their retardation, you still wanna bludgeon them to death. I actually dislike them more than feminists or leftists.
