Currently I am doing what I've always been into: signal processing algorithms.

I am also looking into 3d printing, a potential project would be for me to print from MRI data.

I already got my Mechanical engineering degree. I am just about to start on my electrical engineering degree. Having both will also give me a mechatronics degree. I was making a platform for aerial unmanned search and rescue operations but got stonewalled by our shitty government who is trying to block anything involving drones. I'm not sure what I want to do long term but I will definitely be self employed. I'm tired of working for others.

Trying to decide how stuck I am out here. On the Canadian west coast wages are low and cost of living is insanely high (think like most desirable parts of New York or San Fran in terms of cost)

I want to earn more money in the tech sector than I currently do and I am in management, but growth is stagnant and I feel like I’d earn more in the US. I’d be gone years ago but I live in the same city as my ex because we share a child. I can tell you first hand this makes it so much harder to imagine moving to the states like I really want to sometimes.

I try to remember my child won’t be happier with daddy making double the salary if she sees me half as often. Plus I’ll have less control over how she develops if her main influence is her psycho mom...bit of a conundrum but in summary I aspire to earn more to retire ASAP

Right now, I'm just working at a normal pace, cultivating a couple of passive income streams on the side, and building up my wealth while using all legal means of tax avoidance that I can take.

I Live a frugal life, I buy used instead of new, I try to reduce my economic footprint as much as possible and that's it. Don't have debt, have a lot of money in savings.

I do not wish to accomplish anything noteworthy. Why would I help a society that hates me (White, Heterosexual male)?

I'm 10 years away from retirement (give or take), sorry but this beast of burden has decided to take it easy.

I went from no vehicle licenses to articulated lorries in 6 months.

Got a second truck driving job which is agreeable, for the winter only. Gonna do my best at that and use the experience to land a sweeter driving job come spring. May go for a long distance haulage job or try and find some niche local thing like agriculture or highway maintenance. I would really love to do removals.

Once I am settled in my driving career I want to learn sign language just because. Get a dachshund. Learn some advanced first aid stuff, courses cost around £600+ though so maybe try and get it done via work.

Long term not sure if to get my own lorry and live in it full time and become an owner operator. Just rent a PO box for formal mail and tax reasons. Or just rent/buy a 1 bedroom hole in the wall for cheap just as a basecamp.

I have always been drawn to buying a small plot of land and just plonking a glorified shed in it and living in that or buying someone's unused garage and converting that into a small abode. House prices are fucking stupid so I am trying to think of ways around being sucked into a mortgage.

I want to own a musket at some point. That requires a firearm and a black powder license.

I have a flag collection of places I have lived or visited for 3+ days so adding to that is always an ambition. Getting all EU member states would be cool.

Wouldn't mind some casual FWB deal but working 10 hours+ driving and hand hauling sacks of logs you don't meet many women and being covered in dirt and sweat the ones you do see look at you like a POS anyway and I don't really care because I am too busy for sex and MORE humans. I have 1 best friend and 5 close friends and I barely have time to ever see them. I get to be alone, get fit, and listen to music so I am content.

TLDR: Getting a dachshund is the priority.

I’m only 16, so I really am not too far along, but I plan to go to university and get a degree in medicine, and live a very minimalistic life. Either I’ll retire young and buy a nice (but small) house, or work for 5-10 years longer and get a slightly bigger house. After that, I’ll live my life dedicated to hobbies and other things I enjoy, without a woman in sight.

Im cant fit well in this 9-5 routine, im kinda of a artistic person, dont care that much about money. I also want to become a better person. All hard work

I've been working on the world's largest database of (something related to the industry i worked at in the past). No real reason. Just don't want the information to get lost. Maybe one day I'll license it to someone. Lots of historical documents that aren't available on the web. Digitize it, ocr it, make it neat and legible, and searchable. It's been a passion project for a few years now. I have documents from companies that haven't existed since before I was born.

I am looking at investing in my second home - small - either condo or small house - cut my bills down at least a third. Next finish my ceu's for my massage therapist license. Next - look at volunteering (always wanted to give back in a non-monetary manner). Next - decide which subject I am going to pursue (possibly an additional tech skill or maybe a fun pursuit such as literature studies). Finally - researching my next (third) mountain bike.
