I got trapped into hanging out with my ex by some people who I thought were my friends. Turns out, in the last 2 years she's become a single mother, worked four different jobs, and is currently living in a friend's couch. She started by apologizing for everything she did wrong in our relationship (controlling, cheating, mentally abusive) and saying she's changed. She was also very flirtatious with me, telling me how she's proud I'm going to school, I'm even more attractive now, etc...

All I could think about was this subreddit and all the similar stories I've heard. She asked if would unblock her number, and I politely said no. I pity her, but no part of me wants to raise some other guy's baby and be controlled for the rest of my life.
