The whole one family unit with a wife and 2 kids is a very conservative idea. I'd argue that traditional marriage norms, those found pre-60's, doesn't involve a guy being a cuck at all. It was an agreed upon and understood union where the man would make and supply the family with money, shelter, protection, etc. while the wife keeps everything clean, the family fed, and the husband happy. They more than likely met in high school or some local hangout and were chaste.

MGTOW by the standards of 50 or 60 years ago, might have been liberal in principle given it goes against societal norms. However, by today's standards, MGTOW is conservative in nature, because it's born out of protectionism as a reaction to the complete emasculation by society, and by the courts; and as a result of feminism. Men who have come to MGTOW aren't coming in with the notion of throwing away their property, their earnings and their future again based on a failed marriage system. A good majority of men would walk back to the plantation if the system and the laws were favorable. Many men however are MGTOW as a result of failed marriages. In inherent protectionist mentality makes it conservative in principle by today's standards. In fact you could argue it's even so far right that it roams into libertarianism.
