It is an unattainable prize. They are going to want marriage or whatever but are never going to get it. The most a mgtow is ever going to give a woman is enough time to release their physiological urge and go on about their business while investing as little as possible to increase how efficiently their time was spent. Some mgtow or developing mgtow may go slightly beyond this whereas others probably wont even so much as look at a woman.

Mgtow means different things to different people but for me it means (1) not sacrificing yourself for the sake of female validation; (2) not basing your sense of self-worth on what women think of you.
Relationships with women are not ruled out but are based on carefully weighing the benefits and risks. In my view, the opposite of mgtow is PUA. The PUA's entire life and sense of self worth is based on obtaining validation from women.

you're wrong. as much as society and youth brainwashes women, they all start to realize this by early 20's. sure, by age 25 they haven't hit the wall yet, but they've lost a lot of their power. think about what men will do to a pretty 18 year old, compared to a 25 year old. the wall is coming. it's hard for women to internalize it since their life starts out so peachy and perfect. but they see the older ladies, they see their morning face. they know the ultimate prize is to nab a good beta bux or guy to care for them for life. they know we're the prize and when a girl likes you even in the least you see it. They start early in marrying your biological needs to female validation. Did you know that in Ancient Greece it was customary for boys to take up their father's trade at seven years of age? In Sparta they joined the army at seven and stayed until thirty!
This is significant as your formative years are your most vulnerable. Those being 6-18. It's during this time before and after puberty that society weaves this female validation lie. It's told in song, in video, in movies and greater society that you must pine and worry for the woman and that you'll never be whole without the love of a woman.
Contrast this with western culture today. Boys don't just spend the first 6 years with their mothers almost entirely they go on to spend another 20 years being trained by mom and other women to respect women, to listen to women and to cede all power and authority to women. Their blue pilled fathers repeat the lie. "Happy wife, happy life."

I have one female friend (going back about 35 years now) that is actually sane (though we have never been an 'item'). Her present husband's son was about to get married and the young girl asked my friend for her advice for being in a marriage. My friend replied that the woman must always follow her husband - that the man is "always right". The young girl said "but what about womens' power and 'equality' and such. My friends reply was "I don't know anything about feminism and things like that. I only know what works".
She was together with an old friend of mine for 13 years, but simply had to leave since she could no longer respect the choices he had been making for many years regarding his conduct. She's been with the current husband for 25 years now and is perfectly content - as is the man.

Exactly. I workout everyday, never drank or used drugs, eat right, work hard. I've never been able to date a woman that had put in as much work on themselves as I had. You always feel like you're settling. I was willing to go through that pain and effort so that I would be attractive for them.. But they wouldn't even lift a finger for me.
The few look matches I've met that do take care of themselves looked to date waaay up, or just wanted ride the carousel. I'd rather just be alone at this point.

It is just a bad deal. I never even understood why fat girls even bother to approach me.
