Ever since i was a kid, ive loved space and (sometimes) my country. Id look up information on both, and think about supporting any and all space efforts.

I even got off active duty in order to pursue a degree in marine biology, with the intent to commission/sign up with something like nasa in order to help those same efforts.

Then the world lost its mind, as it pushed its feminist dogma into everything in our lives--including civilian and government agencies including nasa and SpaceX.

Then 2020 hit, culminating with the most corrupt election/dogmatic ideologues we've seen in our lifetime

At this point in my life, i couldnt care less about the space effort, and my love for my country is at the lowest its ever been since i was born. Right now, im the reserves: i have every intention of getting out, buying land in alaska or wyoming, and dissapearing from this rotten society.

I mean this with all sincerity: its a good thing im not in charge of nuclear missiles, because at this point i truly believe mankind will (temporarily) only fix itself via a meteor, flood, or fire, and i am more than willing to fall on that spear to 'initiate' it all.

I also saw from some news site talking about an Indian woman's contribution in making of the rover. I was like wasn't there any Indian man with significant contribution, saw nothing as such on the whole news website.

I started to watch it on 2 different streams and on both there were women talking about their personal life. I'm supposing the people that get things done have no time nor interest in showing off, so the public face is all women.

NASA is largely an administrative organization. Most of the work to develop, build or launch was not done by them.

All the spacecraft are built by contract companies. The rocket that delivered it is a ULA Atlas V built by Boeing and Lockheed Martin.

The rover was assembled at JPL, but most of its components were built by companies who specialize in the specific components.

It is no surprise then that NASA is so women-first. They love to be project managers, where they do all the talking and none of the work.

They've been sucking a long time. Morphed into a bureaucracy of engineers, run by politicians.

Mission creep turned into playing with computers and toys.

And designing crap.

The good news is better days ahead, due to Elon causing a wake up call.

Starship is rather crude, but is proving some important points, like that all rockets dont have to be the same aluminum tubes.

That if you understand the potential thrust, and dont care about fuel usage, you can fly just about anything you can imagine.

Its kind of the reverse of car tech, we're going from small and light Japanese cars, to the realizations of the 40's and 50's, that if you put enough motor in it, and run enough fuel through it, it doesnt matter how much it weighs.

And what we are watching, is the shift from jet turbine engines in aircraft, to rocket engines.

Boeing needs to wake up, that the airlines of the future wont take 16 hours to get to Australia....

They need to quit building 1930's style fuselages...

Tubes with wings need to be replaced by harmony in lifting shapes.

And it can be fabricated, the Germans were welding fighter aircraft in the 40's...

This is pretty standard PR, "put your best face forward" which is usually a female, a semi-attractive one if you have it. Having the near-autistic super genius that can't socialize but saved the project isn't good press.

We only notice this stuff now because of the red pill perspective. I'm not saying it's right, just how it always is.

Saw this as well during the live landing the other day.. Soooo much female pandering. Even calling Perseverance a "she". The only saving grace was during the landing the lead male engineer finally jumped in.

If we ever developed a warp engine, it'll probably be from a private sector and in a male dominated company. I don't see it happening with any government agency and certainly not with NASA.

I am even willing to concede those women made significant contributions to the project. However, I know this industry very well. It is a massive....massive TEAM effort.

It was so blatantly clear that they focused all their attention on just the women. Just to be clear though - it is NOT just NASA. It is the entire STEM field. All the major players are guilty of this: "ohhh look look! Girls are doing it TOO! Look how well they are doing in this field".
