I used to carry a voice recorder in my shirt pocket to record all my conversations because one of my old female bosses kept making shit up about our conversations to her boss trying to get me fired. One time he pulled me into his office and asked about one conversation so I gave him the voice recorder file for that day. She was fired the next day.

Also, do not voluntarily do "team" work with a woman. "Team" work with a woman means you do all the work and get thrown under the bus when she screws up.

One job I had early 2000's was IT Director for a medium business.

When female staff needed to see me for private meetings, I would leave my office and go with her/ them to a quiet corner of the cafeteria.

My VP called me in one day and asked me why i did that.

Told him I never want to be in a room with a closed door with female staff , even with the window in the door, it just isn't happening.

He was quite surprised, until I told him what could happen if someone makes an accusation.

My rules: Never go out to lunch with just one woman alone

Never be alone in a closed door office with a woman

If you have to travel on business with one woman accompanying you, rent your own car so you aren't alone in the vehicle with her.

Don't be having meals with her on the business trip. That makes it awkward, but stand your ground.

The golden rule: NEVER date someone who works where you do.

Women get away with the BARE minimum everywhere they work. No need to do it for them, but if you slack on YOUR responsibilities you will be fired. So, I do all of the work, get paid the least and am always being told what I did wrong, even though without me they can't even change the toner or turn the wifi back on. I hate office work. Soul-sucking bs work that does nothing for the world.

Only be in areas where there are cameras. If a woman makes up shit, and they won't review the footage with you, something is seriously wrong.

I try to remember this. Definitely take the stairs. I've had women come into my office before and shut the door - I'm like, no leave the door open.

Not related to work, but still on-topic... When I was going through my divorce, very early on my ex-wife wanted to come to the house to discuss splitting all of our personal property. Stupidly I agreed and it was just the two of us at the house. Afterwards she falsely claimed I hit her and held that over me, threatening me with it at every point during the rest of the divorce. Luckily I wasn't stupid enough to fall for that bullshit, but after that experience, I vowed to never be alone with her again, and I have not seen her in person since that day. The experience has honestly made me nervous to be alone with any woman ever. I don't like my odds when it's my word versus hers.
