Men and women love pretending that the latter are the civilized, non-shallow gender. Plus, women constantly complain about bad boys, players and so on.

Nice guys ought to be a perfect match for them, if we took society's image of women serious. However, women feel there is no attraction. They are unable or unwilling to admit that stability and kindness do not arouse them, especially not when it comes in an average-looking package too. So they rationalize via a twisted version of the sour grapes argument: "nice guys aren't truly nice anyway!"

Add a pinch of generic stereotypes of unattractiveness, e.g. unkempt neckbeard. And boom, women can now chase toxic men, pretending they're the lesser evil instead of the preferred option.

There's one thing women often say that is somewhat right: "nice is the baseline". This is true for women, being treated nicely is the default for women and they're used to it to the point it's dull. For men, especially those of average or below attractiveness, it's completely different. Most of them are invisible and do not receive genuine kindness from non-related people, especially not from women in a romantic context. And heck, many women do not even treat their boyfriend/husband very nicely. I've often read stories about how a tiny nice gesture from a woman can make a man's day, week or month even, leading to that man developing oneitis. And a lot of men think that returning the thing that made them so happy makes women happy too, although it's nothing special to them. If there's anything you can blame nice guys for, it's projecting their standards on women.

I used to be a "Nice Guy," but after discovering the Manosphere, I swallowed the Red Pill. I even bought a copy of "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and learned a few things. The problem isn't with men, it's society.

Society and women lie to young boys. They tell them they have to be nice guys, so someday they can attract women. In hindsight, it's all bullshit, but not to one raised in a Blue Bill daze.

Women love to say "Nice guys aren't really nice," but really, the men that pump and dump them are definitely not. Have you every tried explaining this over at Niceguys? They are so dismissive of this thing that happens all of the time. "I've never heard a woman say, 'Where are all the nice guys?'" Well, you aren't listening then. I do understand there are guys out there who think if I am nice she will notice me and hopefully fuck me. I was one of them. Growing up all I heard from friends and relatives that all you have to do is be nice and the right person will come along. What a load of shit.

Countless times the women in my life look at me and sigh and ask, "Why can't I be with someone like you?" At this point in the game it is too late now. I am not interested in that anymore.

Why is it so terrible to treat someone with some level of respect and decency off the bat? It's seen as a weakness to them, yet feminism demanded we express ourselves more.

This has been my view since shorty after this 'nice guy' shit has started to really pop up. (Not saying it wasn't around before, but before it was more subtle? A number of years ago it was a big thing everyone was writing about)

They actually managed to instill this sentiment that EVERY guy that's polite and well manered is somehow an evil, pathetic loser that acts this way just to get laid.

This is definitely one angle they take. That the guy is just 'faking it' for sex. The ironic part of course is that a lot of genuine nice guys are really just looking for intimate companionship more than anything. It's not like they're literally just trying to bust a nut.

Anyways, there's also another way they go about making their argument. They basically create a straw man of 'nice guys' where they'll saddle them with a bunch of undesirable traits unfairly.

They say ridiculous things like "Oh, everyone is 'nice' though. Being nice is like the baseline. These 'nice guys' expect to get a girl just by being nice when they aren't really interesting people otherwise you know, they haven't really developed themselves as people, etc.

Basically, it's all really vague, completely subjective shit and it's just so pathetic.

It's like just fucking own up to the fact that you'd rather go with the criminal who has a higher chance of beating you. But no, of course these types of people are too cowardly to actually vocalize how they really feel. So they'll actually throw someone under the bus socially just to have an excuse go with someone else. It's absolutely disgusting.

Honestly, if I ever hear 'nice guys' in a conversation I just disengage. I've heard the bullshit so much, spoken with so much conviction. It's just too much.

It's so funny too because living day to day in society you begin to think you're like the only one that's not retarded and see's through this type of ridiculous bullshit because of how brain wasted these people have everyone.

I don't know if I'm a nice guy. The way I see it now: my time, my energy and my interests are paramount, not yours. My well-being will always come first. If I'm interested in helping, and if I have the time and the energy, and I know you will appreciate it, then I will help. If even one of those things are missing, I will not help you.

I will not help or give a girl special treatment if she comes off as entitled because in reality they will not appreciate it since it's just business as usual for them. So I'm not one to say that I help others without expecting anything in return. Genuine appreciation is important to me and I want it. I don't need a blowjob as a thank you but if I get a superficial thank you or if I feel manipulated after helping, I'm liable to shit in my hand and toss it at your mouth.

Case in point: This one time this girl who didn't write well asked me for help on her reports for her work. At the time she seemed very stressed and she had this health condition which made everything worse. I agreed and once a week she would send me her reports for me to correct. I was fine with it and I saw it as an opportunity to improve my own grammar by correcting someone else's. At the time I didn't feel manipulated and I didn't expect anything from her other than the appreciation of me helping her. Then one week she sent me the worst piece of shit, poorly written garbage that I've ever seen. It looked like a parrot landed on the keyboard and walked all over it for ten minutes. I was completely insulted and disgusted. It felt like someone threw me a huge pile of shit and told me to dig through it with my tongue and pick out the undigested corn with my teeth. I knew that she put absolutely no effort into the report and expected me to pick up the pieces. At the time I didn't know how to express my anger but I was fucking angry going through that bullshit. I realized then that she didn't at all appreciate me or my help and most likely she thought she was manipulating me with her charm to get me to help her. In other words, an entitled bitch. I did the report but told her afterwards that I was busy now and couldn't spare the time for anymore reports.

Damn I was that nice guy for so many years. Dated a few girls who cheated on me, turned friends against me, forced me out of jobs, and told me it was because I was "too nice".
