The problem is that the commonly given solution to the problem of male suicide is more "treatment". Nothing about getting to the source of WHY men feel the need to check out.

So basically a handout to the pharmaceutical industry and the health care industrial complex.

edit: From the same source, the suicide rate is highest amongst middle aged (white) men. Gee, I wonder what could be happening to a lot of middle aged men that would lead them to be so despondent that they'd commit suicide. Oh well, it's a mystery I guess. Maybe it was all those decades spreading muh-soggy-knees.

I think you see identifications of serious issues in high populated areas that are very liberal. I noticed in Chicago a couple of months all the billboards and on the El, and on newsstands, all the Cluster A and Cluster B symptoms that people 'should be aware of'....to get help.

Unfortunately I studied that stuff for too many years, and there is no fixing some things, because it started when the single mom ignored her kids for years, and used them as a sword and shield against anybody else that cared.

London sounds like it's been overrun by feminism, so yeah, this one thing could work, getting men to understand that we are the shepherds of our flocks, and those men need us. This, fortunately, I think can be solved by us being compassionate to our fellow men.

In my experience, "therapy" does NOTHING for helping men who are depressed, unless it is a chemical inbalance. But trying to improve yourself, and especially eating healthy and exercising does help. I actually think more science needs to be done on nutrition linked to mental health, because I bet it has a very large effect.
