You're right. It used to be a haven for men to share a wealth of information and the benefits of seeking solstice in your own venture. Unfortunately it feels as of late, it has been infiltrated with swarms of angry teenagers, upset about lack of success in dating, seeking an identity. It provides comfort to be in the presence of other young men who share their ideas. I think the only posts that should be related to women are ones that are informative or beneficial. Ones that outline laws or risks that one should avoid. Ones that present studies or data. This juvenile posts and bad-date stories are hurting this sub.

It gets posted here a lot because it is easy content to produce. The one thing TRP has more than us is more thoughtful posts that are well planned and researched and present some idea of how things work. Those are more rare here. It is partly because a lot of folks are either young or still strongly in the anger phase.

A solution could be doing "Weekly Threads", like r/fitness does, or have a sticky "Shitpost" thread for single-image posts. Then, leave the rest of the subreddit for thoughtful posts.

Going your own way means that people chose how to live their lifes themselves without having someone telling them what to to do. Don't forget that this sub is MGTOW and mostly the entrance for new people who find it. When I came here, the sub had 10k subscribers, now the sub is a lot more "popular". People who find it, are generally deeply in the anger phase and are happy they finally found people to vent with without being called a sexist or anything right away. So naturally this big part oft he anger phase and also cause of most People going MGTOW is shared and people hate. So pretend to be intellectual, but you didn't come to this conclusion. Instead, you pound yourself on your chest about how enlightened you are. I agree, the sub could use more "old fashioned" posts, but unfortunately the nature of MGTOW, the phases we go through and the increasing popularity makes this completely understandable. So, instead of posting quality content, you start crying like a little baby, further polluting this sub with whiney babies.

I think the problem you'll find is that MGTOW reaches across a very large swath of audiences, and the only commonality is a rejection of gynocentrism. Thus, since the only uniting factor is a distaste for how women are put on a pedestal in society, you're going to see posts that poke at these mainstream ideas and the hypocrisy of women continue to crop up, particularly as it grows in popularity.

As /u/csehszlovakze already mentioned, you can go to r/MGTOWBWBAW for a sub that is focused entirely on the self-improvement aspect, and doesn't allow the bitching part.

I would agree that there is too much hate in this sub, but I would also counter that we need reminders and examples of why we should be going our own way.

Any one person will only ever have a narrow view of why that is based on their own (limited) experience. When we post external content that exposes a much wider tapestry of female nature, this helps expand the view of those who are looking to support their internal decisions. It allows us to make our decisions with a much more complete toolset of evidence.

Criticism of feminism and women must always be allowed, without exception, but hate of feminism and women should be thoroughly discouraged and (IMHO) even put into the rules as a bannable offence.

On the one hand we will never achieve wider legitimacy if hate is a significant part of our platform, and on the other hand hate is just such a destructive emotion; unbefitting an educated, erudite and independent man that uses logic and reason to take control of his life and his destiny.

This is not a rejection by any means, but this forum is kind of meant to be 'outgrown' in a way. If you find yourself to be knowledgeable on some topic or field, please feel free to post -- but the rage is going to stay for a while (especially while the sub is growing).

Something to consider: I really doubt Barbarossa, Stardusk, Coltaine, or Spetznaz spend any meaningful amount of time on this sub.

Look. The bigger this sub grows the less control there will be over who/what type of people post on it. You can't start making hard line rules about how people should post on here because you feel there's too many fart joke equivalent mgtow posts being posted.

This is the same argument going on in the youtube sphere where some people feel like every MGTOW channel should be like Stardusk's or Bar Bar's old channels, and then they get mad when people are giving props to a MGTOW 101 type channel that's more comical or Joke like.
